Course Overview
The cyber security course will help students develop a comprehensive foundation to:
- Identify vulnerabilities in systems.
- Perform penetration testing.
- Build networks and system infrastructure based on security structure, firewalls, UTM.
- Monitoring malicious activities in SoC.
- Ethical hacking.
- Python scripting.
- Metasploit Framework.
- Build Virtual Networks.
- Reverse Engineering for Bug hunting.
Career preparation
Accepted students will gain an access to e – content designed by C-DAC.
By the end of the Certificate Course in Cyber Security, the students will gain practical, hands-on experience preparing them for a career as a cyber security engineer, cybersecurity analyst, penetration & vulnerability tester, incident & intrusion analyst, cybersecurity specialist, and digital forensics investigator.
After successfully completing this course, certified students will have an opportunity for a job interview for employment in one of the local related companies.

Course Eligibility
- A Candidate at least must be a bachelor’s degree holder in the computing field or any other relevant discipline.
- A candidate can be in their last year of study.
- Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 60% in BSc.

Selection criteria
- Candidates who have CCNA courses are given priority.
- Candidates who have scored above 90% GPA are given priority.
- Candidates who work on Linux systems are given priority.
- Candidates who have python programming knowledge are given priority.
Start and End Date: 11th of Oct to 27th of Dec 2023 (every Saturday and Wednesday 7 hours each day 8:00 to 3:00)

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR ( ENG Elham Derbas)
Completed bachelor’s degree in telecommunication engineering at Yarmouk University and working on her master’s thesis in computer and network engineering at Jordan University. Moreover, a certified TOT from the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in India. a skilled cyber security engineer and cyber analyst specialist, possessing diverse technical expertise in several aspects of the field. holding a diploma in system administration and cyber security, and a certified Red Hat instructor. As an OSCP certified Pentester, she has extensive experience with kali Linux. Furthermore, she has actively participated in AI and machine learning projects within the realm of cyber security. Additionally, she has served as a network and network security instructor and has expertise in digital forensics investigations. She teaches multiple courses such as PWK, Red hat admin &admin2 and offensive python course.
